Get out your competitive side while learning to grow potatoes and kumara!
In this workshop, we'll teach you how to grow potatoes and also demonsrate the Tongan way to grow kumara. You'll get to take away a free seed potato and bag for you to practice what you've learnt, and on December 10th we'll hold the potato weigh-in and unveil the competition winner!
There will be kumara-growing materials available for pre-order - we'll be hosting another event in Autumn 2016 for the kumara competition (kumaras take a lot longer to grow than potatoes!)

Where: Dig It! Royal Oak Organic Garden, 14 Erson Avenue, Royal Oak
Cost: Workshop attendance and potato-growing materials free! $12 to pre-order kumara-growing materials.
