Day 138 of 365 days in the community garden

This Saturday we enjoyed a volunteer's fieldtrip to Ngataringa Organic Garden (NOG) in Devonport -  the bus you see in the background was kindly sponsored for the trip by Auckland Bus Hire Company and we travelled in style! We had a wonderful morning touring NOG's awesome garden and learning about composting, followed by delicious pumpkin soup made from our garden-grown pumpkins. What a lovely way to spend a Saturday!
