Day 131 of 365 days in the community garden

Our beautiful bay tree (Laurus nobilis) is about to burst into flower. The pretty little buds cover the entire tree. If you ever decide to grow a bay tree in your garden, remember to keep it trimmed because if left untended it grows into a huge garden tree (up to 7.5m).

The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others only a green thing that stands in the way. Some see nature all ridicule and deformity... and some scarce see nature at all. But to the eyes of the man of imagination, nature is imagination itself.”  William Blake
