Day 96 of 365 days in the community garden

We love our little persimmon tree - for its size, it produces a lot of persimmons! We cover ours with a net during its fruiting season, because the birds love persimmons too. Next season we'll try hanging old CD's in the tree to scare off birds, we've had reports from many people that this method works well. It's a lot more attractive than netting too.
