Day 102 of 365 days in the community garden

Comfrey and artichokes growing in the same bed. We love having comfrey to use for our comfrey fertiliser, but it can easily overwhelm and kill off adjacent plants. We turned our back for a little while and now our artichokes are being choked out (no pun intended) by the comfrey. If you choose to have comfrey in your garden, plant it in a pot or an isolated bed so that it doesn't become a problem in your garden beds. We plan to try to pull out some of the comfrey plants to allow the artichokes to re-grow.
