Day 86 of 365 days in the community garden

Buddha's Hand Citron ripening on the tree. This highly fragrant fruit from the lemon family is a beautiful ornamental tree. It's leaves and fruit are wonderfully fragrant. The fruit is more rind than flesh, and can be sliced and sprinkled over salads or used in pickles and baking. We love these small trees and highly recommend them for the Auckland garden.

I believe when life gives you lemons, you should make lemonade...and try to find someone whose life has given them vodka, and have a party.” Ron White
