Bird baths can be made of all types of materials (Photo by Michael). This bird bath is made from an old milk pail, a weathered railway sleeper and an upturned concrete brick. There are a few small bricks inside the milk pail, for the birds to sit on since the milk pail is a bit too deep. Pictured growing around it is beautiful flowering oregano.
