Day 73 of 365 days in the community garden

Sow coriander seeds now - with the cooler weather, your coriander won't bolt and go to seed as quickly as it does in the hot months. Once you've got a lovely bunch of coriander growing you can make coriander pesto - ingredients pictured above. Simply whizz together a bunch of coriander in a blender, add a handful of nuts (e.g walnuts, almonds, cashews), two tablespoons of olive oil, and lemon and salt to taste. Voila - so simple, fresh and easy!

"Gardening is a labour full of tranquility and satisfaction; natural and instructive, and as such contributes to the most serious contemplation, experience, health and longevity." John Evelyn, 1666
