Day 68 of 365 days in the community garden

Plant kale this month - three of our favourite (and most productive!) varieties at the garden are Red Russian Kale (which has a lovely pink stem and self-sows readily); Curly Leaf Kale (which grows into a large bush and produces vast quantities of leaves) and Cavolo Nero. Sow from seed or buy seedlings. This low-maintenance super-food is a must-have for your winter garden.
