Day 62 of 365 days in the community garden

Calendula border in our herb garden (Photo by Brendan). Calendula flowers are well-known for their eco-friendly services to the garden, but you can also enjoy the petals steeped in boiling water as a lovely herbal tea. Simply pick a few teaspoon's full of petals, place them in a cup, add boiling water and steep for a few minutes. Strain out the petals and enjoy.

“If you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it's your world for a moment.”  Georgia O'Keeffe
