Garlic drying before we plaited it (photo by Brendan). How was your garlic this season? We didn't plant as much this year as we did last year, but it was all relatively well-sized. We plait our garlic and hang it once it's dry, and remove the soil from the roots to keep it clean. The garlic is so popular though that it all got sold in one day! We're looking forward to garlic planting season in June - and we're going to try a new method, where you plant lettuce amoungst your garlic to stop the weeds. What do you think? See more here.
