Pretty bell-shaped flowers of the comfrey plant - make your own comfrey liquid fertiliser by immersing comfrey leaves in a bucket of rainwater and letting it rot down. The comfrey plant mines minerals from deep in the soil and these are released from the leaves into your bucket of rainwater, making a great liquid fertiliser. Watch out where you plant comfrey plants because they can tend to take over!
