Day 39 of 365 days in the community garden

Powdery mildew on a courgette leaf with a yellow and black fungus-eating ladybird. Spray your courgette leaves thoroughly with a solution of milk and water (1 part milk to 9 parts water) or baking soda and water (1 tablespoon baking soda with 1 litre of water).  The lady bird eats the fungus, but it spreads it too! Remove any plants and leaves that are too heavily infested with powdery mildew.

“A garden to walk in and immensity to dream in--what more could he ask? A few flowers at his feet and above him the stars.”  Victor HugoLes Misérables
